We have an opportunity for motivated and determined Physiotherapists to join our bank register at Claremont Hospital. Ideal candidates will demonstrate experience of elective orthopaedic and musculoskeletal work.

In this role you will be required to support the Physiotherapy Manager in the provision of a professional, safe and efficient service to inpatients attending Claremont Hospital. You will predominantly participate in the orthopaedic weekend rota as part of this role, with some opportunity to cover leave and sickness within the week if you wish.

Some of the responsibilities of this role will require you to achieve the following:

  • To provide a professional Physiotherapy service to in-patient groups, which shall be based on recognised standards of practice, which include Hospital procedures and standards of care and the professional standards of the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • To effectively manage/utilise the Physiotherapy service’s resources to achieve both clinical and financial objectives.
  • To participate in the development and marketing of Physiotherapy services, maintaining Claremont’s profile with the local community.
  • To assist where required, in the development and implementation of clinical and organisational standards, policies and procedures for the Physiotherapy service in conjunction with the Physiotherapy Manager.
  • Provide as required, statistical information and records pertaining to the Physiotherapy service.
  • Establish and actively maintain effective and productive working relationships with Consultants, patients, the general public and other staff.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a broad range of pre, and post graduate experience in physiotherapy specialities and apply this to their practice.

The ability to reflect and critically appraise your own work is vital to succeeding in this role, therefore evidence of Continuous Professional Development is essential.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS prior to commencing in the role and will be registered with the HCPC.
