Full time – Highgate Private Hospital – Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to work as part of our Imaging team at Highgate Private Hospital (part of Aspen Healthcare) delivering a high standard of customer service, with close attention to the welfare of both patients and staff.

It is essential that the successful candidate has competent IT skills, good organisation and communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills. It is important to deliver a high standard of customer service whilst providing an efficient administrative and secretarial service to the Imaging Department.

Key Accountabilities

  • Book imaging appointments, answer phones promptly, handle enquires & perform routine office duties
  • Type correspondence and any other administrative details for the Radiologists and Imaging Services Manager as required
  • Ensure effective diary management of Radiologists’ workload
  • Prepare clinic lists, collate referral letters and capture insurance details for each days activity
  • Partake in ‘on the job training’ and understand patient preparation necessary for different examinations in Imaging
  • Investigate and assist the imaging services manager in resolving any complaints received concerning imaging services
  • Deal with requests from solicitors for reports and films liaising with medical records clerk
  • Participate in the induction / orientation of new staff

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Experience of working in an administration office in a healthcare setting
