Job Details:

Based at Claremont Hospital Sheffield an exciting opportunity is available for 2 Buyer positions.

The Buyer(s) will form an integral part of the Group Purchasing and Supply Chain function in the achievement of the companies’ objectives with regards to cost control and efficiencies while guaranteeing continuity of supply.

The Buyer(s) will manage several categories within the sourcing team so enabling internal stakeholders to become more commercially focused in their utilisation of budgets, to implement innovative solutions to achieve significant and sustainable cost improvements whilst delivering high quality care to their patients and service users.

They will provide support on procurement and sourcing projects to key stakeholders, work collaboratively to influence partners and modify embedded cultural change so that inclusive planning and delivery of the Groups strategic aims are achieved.

They will prioritise change through the implementation of process improvements and product / equipment standardisation initiatives designed to drive cost down without impacting negatively on service standards and outcomes.

A personal desire / aspiration to learn and advance in their function as Buyer is a key characteristic of this role.
