A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sister or Charge Nurse to provide leadership on our Nursing Floors at Parkside Private Hospital, Wimbledon.

Parkside Hospital has 3 wards and this includes 69 inpatient ensuite bedrooms.  The first and second floor wards admit patients for both acute and elective care across all surgical specialities and the wards also admit general medical patients. The third floor has 15 inpatient oncology beds.

The role:

  • To provide a high standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team.
  • To be responsible for all aspects of patient care including the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of direct patient care.
  • To take the lead on delegated responsibilities as defined by the Surgical and HDU Manager.
  • To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the ward.
  • To act in the role as bleep holder (senior nurse on duty)

The person:

  • Registered with the NMC
  • Relevant post registration courses appropriate to the post
  • Analysing staff and ward management problems and coming up with viable solutions
  • Working as a practitioner in and across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Evidence of ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Visa sponsorship available
