Midland Eye has the opportunity for an enthusiastic Scrub Practitioner to join the team.

We are seeking someone with a positive can-do attitude who will execute the Aspen value ofBeyond Compliance’ by going above and beyond to ensure high quality and a responsive service is always delivered at Midland Eye.

As a successful Scrub Practitioner in theatres, you will be required to ensure that a high quality and responsive service is consistently delivered in theatre and you will assist in providing leadership and effective management for the department. The successful post-holder will be required to support the Theatre Lead in developing theatre services, whilst taking responsibility to ensure that resources are utilised effectively, including the management of pre assessment patients.

The ideal candidate will support the Theatre Lead in ensuring that staffing levels and other resources match the activity of the department at all times and you will work closely with the Theatre Lead to ensure the effective management of theatre lists. The successful post-holder will ensure that the highest standard of evidence-based care is delivered to all patients in the theatre department and will liaise with the Theatre Lead to ensure that all the equipment in the pre assessment / recovery area is subject to formal maintenance contracts, and that the equipment is maintained and repaired according to the contract schedule.
